1856 Homestead Alpaca Farm is not just a name... it's an experience. The lovely Farm house was built in 1856 and compliments the charismatic Alpacas well. The Farm is located on 55 relatively flat acres in Jackson County, West Virginia and is a part of American History, complete with it's own "Mail Pouch" barn. It is approximately 35 miles from Charleston or Parkersburg on I-77.

We have been in the "Alpaca" business 4 years now. Herd growth has been steady but our emphasis remains on Quality not Volume and the breeding program continues to be focused on improved density & fineness - thus yield. Schedule a visit and check out the progress.

The Alpacas continue to amaze our friends and neighbors and yes... us! If you would like to share this exciting experience with these loveable animals, contact us for an appointment.

We offer Free delivery within 300 miles when purchasing multiple alpacas!
